Air & Wastewater Exceedances
Wastewater exceedances increased 27 percent in 2010 compared with 2009 (62 vs. 49). Since 1996, wastewater exceedances across GE have been reduced by 90 percent. Air exceedances increased in 2010 to 19 from our lowest ever total of 3 in 2009. This number is more in line with but below our average of 25 air exceedances per year. Since 1998, air exceedances across GE have been reduced by 70 percent.
